Andrew F. Moeller

Andrew F. Moeller, age 91, of Burkettsville, died on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. He was born April 22, 1925 in Wendelin to the late Daniel & Henrietta (Stammen) Moeller. On May 1, 1946 he married Viola M. (Rindler) and she died June 1, 2011. He is survived by seven children, Ron & Jane Moeller, St. Henry, Roger & Dorothy Moeller, Ft. Loramie, Barb & Fred Fortkamp, Ft. Recovery, Ken & Star Moeller, Philothea, Paul & Joyce Moeller, Burkettsville, Pauline & Mark Wogaman, Versailles, Nancy & Rick Minch, Fairview, NC; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tom Moeller, Coldwater, Mary Lou Eilerman, North Star, Joann Eilerman, North Star, Jim & Esther Moeller, Springfield, Susie & Leroy Unrast, Wilcox, AZ; in-laws, Armella Moeller, New Bremen, Lucille & Albert Hoelscher, Ft. Loramie, and Melvin Rindler, Carthagena. He is preceded in death by a son Robert, a daughter Dorothy, siblings Jerome Moeller, Algar & Velma Moeller; and in-laws Mary Moeller, Bernard Eilerman, Alfred Eilerman, Cletus & Delores Rindler, Arthur & Alvina Rindler and Dorina Rindler. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Men’s Society of the Church, St. Henry Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and V.F.W. Posts in Ft. Recovery. Andrew served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS South Dakota. Andrew retired from Sheller Globe in Union City, Indiana and he also farmed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Care.
