Andrew L. Kramer, age 86, of Chickasaw, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Heritage Manor, Minster. He was born February 4, 1928 in Chickasaw, to the late Henry & Rosa (Holdheide) Kramer. He married Ellen (Moeller) on September 20, 1949, and she survives in Chickasaw. He is also survived by seven children, John Kramer of Troy, Carol & Charlie Wenning of Coldwater, Ruth Kramer of Cincinnati, Donna & Clem Kunk of Tucson, Arizona, Jean & Joe Bender of Maria Stein, Anita & Brian Boroff of New Bremen, and Jimmy & Carla Kramer of Chickasaw, nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Al & Lucy Kramer of Chickasaw and Norb Kramer of St. Henry, a sister, Mary Ann Severt of St. Marys and in-laws, Lucille Kramer of Celina and Florie Moeller of Chickasaw. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, brothers and sisters, Leon Kramer, Othmar & Rose Kramer, Agnes & Elmer Knapke, Helen & Charley Connolly, and Werner & Marilyn Kramer and in-laws, Alice Kramer, Roman Severt, Eugene Overman, Alvera & Rich Boeckman, Vi & Vince Ontrop, Pete & Rita Moeller, Dorothy & Eugene Schoenlein, Verena & Clete Tobe, Rich & Doris Moeller and Art Moeller. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, and its Men's Sodality, a former member of the Chickasaw Volunteer Fire Dept., was a Chickasaw Councilman and a social member of the Chickasaw VFW. He was a graduate of Marion Local High School and earned his FCC License from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics. He began hauling can milk when he was 16 years old and continued as a milk hauler and repaired radios and televisions. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 3 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
