Andrew Dahlinghaus, age 94, of Maria Stein, passed away on October 11, 2026 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. He was born on February 14, 1932 in Cranberry to the late John & Josephine (Hoying) Dahlinghaus.

He is survived by brother, Ralph & Anna Lee Dahlinghaus and sister, Mary Ann Heckman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Andy was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Norbert & Mary Louise Dahlinghaus, Rosemary & Edwin Poeppelman, Alvin Kemper, Martha & Earl Thieman, Esther & Jim Schwieterman, Tom & Mary Alice Dahlinghaus, Dennis Dahlinghaus, and Thomas Heckman.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Cranberry. Andy was a lifelong farmer. He loved playing cards and winning. Lastly, Andy enjoyed spending time with his many family members and neighbors.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 16, 2026 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Cranberry Prairie. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, October 15 and from 9 AM to 10 AM on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Cancer Association.
