Alvin L. Plas

Alvin L. Plas age 79 of Sidney formerly of St. Patrick, Ohio died Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.  He was born December 27, 1941 in St. Patrick, Ohio to the late Bernard & Martha (Poeppelman) Plas.  He is survived by sisters: Norma & Ron Stangel, McCartyville, Lois & Gary Gross, Anna, Mary Ann & Richard Knostman, Troy and 8 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by brother Carl Plas.  Alvin was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, He always loved working at S & H Products, Sidney and loved keeping busy at Fair Haven County Home.  He also loved all the people at Fair Haven, playing Bingo and the Special Olympics.   Private family services will be held on Friday and burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery next to his parents and brother.   In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Fair Haven County Home & S & H Products.  Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com .
