Alvin E. May, age 73, of St. Henry, Ohio, died at 5:15 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Triumph Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born May 03, 1938 in St. Anthony, Ohio to Charles & Mary (Buschur) May. On June 25, 1960 he married Shirley (Adams) and she survives in St. Henry. He is also survived by six children, Cynthia May of St. Henry, Ohio, Patricia Abels of Coldwater, Ohio, Richard & Theresa May of Celina, Ohio, Brian & Connie May of Coldwater, Ohio, Scott & Suzanne May of Buckland, Ohio and David & Pamela May of Ohio City, 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, Donald & Dolores May of Coldwater, Ohio, Kenneth & Karen May of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, William & Beth May of St. Marys, Ohio, Robert & Nancy May of Celina, Ohio, Raymond & Donna May of Celina, Ohio and Marty & Mike Krieg of Coldwater, Ohio, and two brothers-in-law, Donald & Jean Adams of Coldwater, Ohio and Michael & Connie Adams of Celina, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Virginia May, a sister-in-law Jeannie May and a grandchild. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Philothea, Ohio, mens society of the church, Coldwater Eagles and a social member at the Coldwater Legion and V.F.W. He retired from Crown Controls in New Bremen, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, Ohio with Fr.
