Aloys (Red) Riethman age 83 of Anna, Ohio died Thursday March 24, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster, Ohio, he had been a resident there for three years. He was born January 7, 1928 in McCartyville, Ohio to August and Elizabeth(Tuente)Riethman, they preceeded him in death. He was married June 6, 1953 at St. Augustine Church in Minster, Ohio to Julitta (Judy) Voskuhl she survives along with thier Children, Carol and Anthony DeNovi of Valrico, FL: Barbara Rogers, Lima, OH; Joan and Tim Clay, Wapakoneta, OH; James Riethamn, Rockford, OH; Ted Riethman, Botkins, OH; Lawrence(Larry) and Sue Riethman, Oakwood, OH; Leroy(lee) and Jeannie Riethman, Huber Heights, OH: Patrick(Pat) Riethman, Botkins, OH; and Elizabeth(Lisa) and Jeff McHahan, New Knoxville; One son in-law Randy Stelzer and His special friend Nancy Buettner, Wapakoneta, OH; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. One son Kenneth (Buck) Riethman and one Daughter Linda Stelzer are deceased. Aloys is also survived by his siblings Bernadetta Schulze, New Bremen, OH; Mary Ann Wenning, Maria Stein; Norbert Riethman, Covington; Linus and Mary Riethman, St. Marys; Homer Riethman, Anna; and Helen Wesbecker, Sidney. Deceased in-laws include Linus Schulze, Ralph Wenning, Dick Wesbecker, David Voskuhl, Adeline Riethman, Joan Riethman and Joan Voskuhl. Al was amember of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville. He was a farmer and worked full time and retired from Midmark Corporation after 48 years. He is a World War II Veteran Serving as a MP in Japan. Al was a founding member of the St. Marys Tri Squares Western Square Dance Club, a former member of the K of C and enjoyed his hobbies of attending auctions, flea markets and being an antique dealer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM Rev. John Tonkin Presider, burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM till 8:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM Till 10:00 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in McCartyville. Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster is charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to The Parkinsons Foundation in Aloys name.
