Alice M. Keefer, age 77, of Maria Stein, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Celina Manor. She was born July 10, 1937 in Maria Stein, to the late Roman & Clara (Piekenbrock) Meier. She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Keefer of Maria Stein, brothers and sisters, Donald & Linda Meier of Yorkshire, Richard & Patricia Meier of Fr. Recovery, Roger Meier of Maria Stein, Stanley & Linda Meier of Maria Stein and Lucille & John Steinbrunner of Coldwater, and a brother-in-law, James Platfoot of Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cyril Meier and a sister, Charlene Platfoot. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and its ladies sodality. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 22 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
