Alice Marie Huelsman age 85 of Chickasaw, Ohio died at 11:07 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Inpatient Unit of Everheart Hospice in Greenville, Ohio. She was born on December 20, 1936 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Adrian, Sr. & Blanche (Holtman) Grillot. She married Paul Huelsman on November 12, 1955 in Newport, Ohio. He survives in Chickasaw. She is also survived by children: Kurt & Kandy Huelsman, Brownsboro, AL, Doug Huelsman, Columbus, Sue Huelsman Chickasaw, Scott & Betsy Huelsman, Chickasaw, Beth & Brian Winner, Osgood, 9 grandchildren: Christopher, Daniel, & Stephen Huelsman, Janelle Sohner, Jackie Arling, Kayla Borchers, Leah Brown, Jesse Winner, Josie Turnock, 14 great grandchildren, siblings: Rose Magoto, Dorothy & Dan Davidson, Ruth Rentz, Mary & Bob Morrow, Barb & Jim Botkin, Adrian Jr & Jane Grillot, in-laws: Robert Pleiman, Robert & Marlene Huelsman, Freida & Walt Schwieterman, Jean & Ralph Stachler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul’s parents Mary & Charles Huelsman, brother Vernon Grillot, sister Betty Pleiman, in-laws Cletus Magoto, Harold Rentz, Charles Huelsman, Delores & Lowell Bohman, Helen & Edward Schwieterman, Fred Huelsman and niece Deborah Buehler. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, the Ladies Sodality of the church, a Eucharistic Minister. She was on the Marion Twp Library Board, a republican representative for the election board and a member of the “Happy Habits” act. She was in a card club for over 50 years, enjoyed camping, golfing and traveling. She was a homemaker and acted as both parents when Paul was traveling for business. She was a friend to everyone and spent many years with their second family in Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will take place in Precious Blood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, February 28, 2022 and from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Everheart Hospice. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com .
