lbert Lee Watson (Al), age 83 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 9:03 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 2, 2014 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. He was born on Feb. 2, 1931 in Fresno, CA. Surviving is his wife, Margaret who lives in Celina. Surviving are children Mark of Reno, Nevada, Michele of Gulfport, Mississippi, Geoffrey of Groton, Massachusetts, and Leigh of Mooresville, North Carolina. A son Michael preceded him in death. He was proud to have served his country for eleven years starting with the United States Navy in 1948, then the United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division. The last four years of his service he was attached to the Department of State serving at the United States Embassy in Paris, France. He was a decorated Korean War veteran. His working career centered in the private sector of law enforcement as Corporate Security Director for several large corporations. He was a life member of the V.F.W. and the 1st Marine Division Association. A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday Oct. 18, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Military Honors will follow his memorial service at the funeral Home. Friends may call from 9-11a.m. on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
