Agnes M. Frilling age 100 of Cardo Road Sidney, OH died at 2:35 AM Saturday February 22, 2014 at Fairhaven County Home were she was a patient for one week. She was born September 4, 1913 near Sidney, OH to Bernard & Mathilda (Hoelscher) Mertz. On May 7, 1941, she married Raymond B. Frilling at St. Michael Church, he died November 14, 1975. Agnes is survived by one daughter Margene and her husband Joseph Opperman of Centerville, one son Roger and his wife Barbara Frilling of Sidney, a son-in-law Michael and his wife Christine Albers of Ashland, OH, 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a daughter Eileen Albers, a son Jerry Frilling, 3 sisters and 1 brother. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church Ft. Loramie, OH, The St. Anne Rosary & Altar Sodality, Apostleship of Prayer of the Church and The Gold Star Mothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday Feb. 26, 2014, at St. Michael Church, Rev. Steven Shoup Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorials may be made to The Ft. Loramie Rescue Squad.
