Wilfred “Bill” A. Bensman, age 76, of 251 Oakwood Dr., Ft. Loramie, OH, died Sunday March 14, 2004 at Heritage Manor in Minster. He was born on February 3, 1928 in McCartyville, OH to Julius & Cecelia (Hoying) Bensman. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie American Legion, a 1946 Graduate of Anna High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War; he retired from Lochard Sheet Metal Fabricating in Sidney. On June 6, 1953 he married Martha Romie at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ft. Loramie, OH. She survives in Ft. Loramie. He is also survived by his son, Greg Bensman, Findlay, OH and a daughter Sharon & Keith Reeder, Ft. Loramie, OH, Grandchildren, Janessa & Jarrett Reeder, brother Urban & Katie Bensman, Minster, sisters, Mary Hartard, Wapakoneta, Theresa & Roger Bornhorst, Minster, Joan Willenberg, Cincinnati, brother-in-law Ralph & Madeline Bornhorst, McCartyville. He was preceded in death by 2 infant children Brenda & Randy, Sister Rita Bornhorst. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday & 9 to 10 AM Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup, Celebrant. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Ft. Loramie. Memorials to St. Michael Catholic Church or Heritage Manor Activity Fund.
