Adele J. Hilgefort, age 87, of Minster, Ohio, died Friday, February 20, 2004, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster, Ohio She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Anne Ladies Sodality of the Church, Apostleship of Prayer of the Church, Ladies Aux. of Knights of St. John Ft. Loramie. She was born December 27, 1916 to the late Anton Hoelscher and the late Alvina (Seger) Hoelscher. She married Mathias N. Hilgefort on June 30, 1936. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1968. She is survived by her Daughters, Ruth & Dick Bruggeman of Maria Stein, Ohio, Kathleen Schemmel of McCartyville, Ohio, Linda & John Poynter of Troy, Ohio, Sons, Jim & Judy Hilgefort of Fort Loramie, Ohio, Karl & Kathy Hilgefort of Fort Loramie, Ohio, Ninteen grandchildren, Thirty Six great-grandchildren & half brother Jerome & Doris Wissman . The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2004 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2004 , Rev. Steven Shoup, Celebrant.. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Ft. Loramie Rescue Squad.
