Charles E. Deitrick age 67 formerly of 5708 Johnston Rd. in Celina passed away on Thursday February 12, 2004 at the Plus Health Care Center in Lima. He was born on Saturday July 18, 1936 to the late Paul & Helen (McDermitt) Deitrick. He is also preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Lane) Deitrick. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law Rick & Charlene Brooks of Coldwater, Ohio, daughter Kimberly Ann Mott of Van Wert, Ohio, grandchildren A.J. Brooks, Kyle Brooks, Kody Deitrick, Emily Mott, 1 Dec’d Grandson, and a sister Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) Dahlinghaus of Minster, Ohio. He was a Life member of the Celina American Legion and the Celina V.F.W., he was the Santa Clause for the city of Celina for several years. He Retired from as a Equipment operato form West Ohio Gasline and formerly worked for Joe Ross Pipeline. He was the owner operator of the former Coldwater Creek Landing and the C& R Tavern in Motezuma. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday Morning at the Lehman Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Kathleen Hayes officiating, burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina. Friends may call at the Lehman Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Asso. or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
