Lester R. Fleck, 70, 3203 County Road 716A, Celina, died at 3:10 a.m. Jan. 29, 2004, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born June 28, 1933, in St. Sebastian, to George and Salome Rose Fleck. On July 27, 1966, he married Marjorie Heuing who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Lester G. (Mandy) of St. Sebastian; three daughters, Rhonda (Robert) Wootton, Joan Fleck and Kelly (Todd) Pleiman, all of Dayton; two brothers, Robert of Chickasaw and John of St. Sebastian; three sisters, Jean (Elmer) Wynk, St. Sebastian, Shirley (Elmer) Quinter of Wisconsin, and Janice (Tom) Rindler, North Star; and eight grandchildren.
A brother, Earl, is deceased.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Menís Holy Name Society, both of St. Sebastian, the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Chickasaw. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John Bensman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
