Geraldine E. Kettler, 95, East College Street, Coldwater, died at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 26, 2004, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born May 4, 1908, in Botkins, to Edward and Elizabeth Brockert Hemmert. Her husband, Herbert C. Kettler, died Nov, 9, 1967.
Surviving are a son, John (Chris) of Englewood; a sister, Bertha (Ivan) Braun, Wapakoneta; a sister-in-law, Ruth Hemmert, also of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A brother, Frederick, and a sister, Stella, are deceased.
She owned and operated the former Kettlerís Jewelers in Coldwater. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Annís Rosary Altar Sodality, both of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12:30-1 p.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
