Gerhard Reder
Gerhard (Jim) Reder, 62, 10098 Herman Road, Celina, died at 4:35 p.m. Jan. 20, 2004, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Death was due to injuries sustained in a fall on the ice the previous day.
He was born Oct. 2, 1941, in Cincinnati, to William and Elizabeth Turley Reder. On June 7, 1998, he married Barbara Preston who survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Fritz Suhr, Celina; a stepdaughter, Maria Suhr, Columbus; three brothers, John (Ann), Joseph (Connie) and William (JoAnn), all of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Elizabeth Eicher and Mary (Tom) Groh, also of Cincinnati.
A sister, Ruth Renner, is deceased.
He was a retired air traffic controller and a member of Coldwater American Legion Post.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Celina, the Revs. Karen Long and Stephen Merold officiating.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina.
