Boehmer, Mary M., age 89 of Centerville, Ohio, (formerly of Coldwater, Ohio) died Thursday, December 4, 2003 at St. Leonard’s Health Care Center in Centerville. She was born August 9, 1914 to the late Jacob & Carrie (Puthoff) Bettinger. She was married on May 5, 1944 to the late William Boehmer, who died May 11, 1975.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Karen & Dan Steinmetz of Centerville; a grandson Brian Steinmetz of Pittsburg, PA; a granddaughter Julie Steinmetz of Cincinnati, OH; and a sister Myrna Niekamp of Coldwater.
Mrs. Boehmer was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and it’s St. Ann’s Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality and was also a member of the Community Hospital Auxiliary and worked as volunteer at Briarwood Manor and Community Hospital Gift Shop.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday December 9, 2003 at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Tom Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater, OH from 3 until 8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Memorial contributions made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice or Hospice of Dayton.
