Wilmer B. ìBimî Borgert, 84, 252 N. Walnut St., St. Henry, died at 10:05 p.m. Jan. 2, 2004, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 17, 1919, in Cranberry Prairie, to John and Elizabeth Osterfeld Borgert. On Oct. 25, 1947, he married Rita Stahl who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Bob (Janet) of St. Henry, Denny (Joyce) and Jim (Nancy), both of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Betsy (Ron) Houts, Celina, and Diane (Mike) Link, St. Henry; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Levinus; a sister, Delores Stanford; and a grandchild.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church and St. Henry American Legion Post. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Emil Labbe officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with the American Legion conducting military rites.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. today and 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
