Hilda Poeppelman, age 90, of Minster, Ohio, died Sunday, December 28, 2003, at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, N.C. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Monica Ladies Sodality, Fraternal Orde Eagles Aux 1391. She was the daughter of the late August Rethman and the late Anna (Poeppelman) Rethman. She married Wilbert "Web" Poeppelman on June 10, 1941. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1986. She is survived by her One Daughter, Patricia Pekarek of Boone, N.C. Three grandchildren and sisters-in-law Marie Rethman, Sidney, Fredona Rethman, Versailles & Frances Rethman, Ft. Loramie. She was preceded by 6 brothers & 4 sisters. Arrangements are being handled by N.J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc., 61 South Hanover St., Minster, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, January 1, 2004 and from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM Friday, January 2, 2004. Funeral service will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2004, Rev. Louis Schmit, Celebrant. Interment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Minster, Ohio.
