Richard C. Bernard, age 55, of New York, N.Y., died December 18. 2003, at his residence. He was the son of Cyril Bernard and Alvina (Leugers) Bernard. He is survived by his One Sister, Ann & Ron Puthoff of Chickasaw, Ohio, Two Brothers, Tom & Loraine Bernard of Maria Stein, Ohio, Don Bernard of Maria Stein, Ohio. He was a 1965 Graduate of Brunnerdale Seminary. He received a Bachelors Degree in Music & a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the University of Dayton. He was an avid reader and writer of Philosophy. He was a self-employed owner of Metro-Team in New York City. Arrangements are being handled by N.J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc., 61 South Hanover St., Minster, Ohio. Funeral service will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 3, 2004 , Rev. Kenneth Schroeder officiating. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Maria Stein, Ohio. Memorials can be made for Masses or Chickasaw Community Library.
