Mrs. Gertrude H. Tesno, age 85, of Celina, Ohio, died Sunday, December 28, 2003, at Joint Township Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys, Ohio. She was born August 28, 1918, the daughter of the late Albert and Amelia Zimmerman.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law James & Ann Tesno of Celina, Ohio. Two daughters and sons in law, Mary & Frederick Drakesmith of St. Charles, Mo. and Barbara & Eric Niederhoffer of St. Louis, Mo. Five grandchildren: Matthew, Meredith and Bradley Drakesmith and Theresa and Katherine Tesno.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a member of Christian Mother's Sodality of the Church.
Arrangements are being handled by N.J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc., 715 East Main, Coldwater, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2003 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2003, Fr. James Dugal, officiating. Interment will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Montezuma, Ohio. Contributions may be made to masses or the Mercer County Senior Citizens.
