Merle Chrisman
Merle M. Chrisman, 69, 2900 Melody Lane Drive, Celina, died at 6 a.m. today, Dec. 22, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Sandwich, Ill., to Roy and Blanche Atkinson Scoughton. On March 2, 1955, she married Wayne Chrisman who is deceased.
Surviving are a two brothers, Gerald (Rosa) Scoughton, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Richard Scoughton, Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Faye (Gerald) Chrisman, Celina; caretaker and niece, Jackie (Brad) Hughes, Celina; and a brother-in-law, Charles Diem, Grand Marsh.
Deceased are seven brothers and a sister, Viola Diem.
She had worked at Celina Insurance Group. She was a member of St. Paulís United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, both of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, with Barbara Armentrout officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
