Opal Evans
Opal A. Evans, 80, 502 N. Buckeye St., Celina, died at 12:55 a.m. Dec. 19, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 5, 1923, in Ewing, Va., to Matt and Sally Pridmore Littrell. On Dec. 1, 1940, she married Arthur Seals who is deceased. On Aug. 2, 1968, she married Delford Evans who also is deceased.
Surviving are four sons, Jack (Sandy) Seals, Celina, Ronnie (Carmel) Seals, Galion, Larry Seals, Rockford, and John (Becky) Seals, Wapakoneta; two daughters, Shirley Hawkey, Van Buren, Ind., and Pam Pugh, Celina; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are two sons, Dennis and Gary Seals, and an infant son, Troy Seals; an infant daughter, Cecilia Sue Seals; infant twin son and daughter, Melvin and Evelyn Seals; three brothers, Claud, White and Bill Littrell; and five sisters, Mary Ayers, Gladys Williamson, Eunice Butcher, Mae Pat Chastain and Elsie Lambert.
She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, St. Marys. She was a former member of Order of Eastern Star and Rebeckkah Lodge, of Wapakoneta.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Revs. Stephen Merold and Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
