Charles Butcher
Charles William Butcher, 56, 7097 Ohio 118, Celina, died at 2:32 p.m. Dec. 18, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital. An autopsy to determine cause of death was incomplete at press time.
He was born June 16, 1947, in Celina, to Charles Edgar and Marjorie Jarrett Comer Butcher. His mother survives in Coldwater. On Oct. 19, 1969, he married Linda K. Smith who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Jeff (Amy) of Celina; a sister, Pam (Tad) Rikard, Ohio City; and several nieces and nephews.
He worked in the fabrication department of Braun Industries in Van Wert. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), both of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. John Nunnally officiating. Burial with military honors by the VFW and American Legion post is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
