McCloskey, Francis L. (Blankenship), 85, formerly of Montezuma, Ohio died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Otterbein Nursing Home in St. Marys, Ohio. She was born January 15, 1923, in Middletown, Ohio to the late John and Eva (Schmidt) Blankenship. She married John McCloskey in 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, he precedes her in death. She is survived by her son: Gary (Sandra) Elkin of Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter-in-law Amee Woodard of Germantown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren; siblings: John Blankenship of Montezuma, Ohio, Mabel Hart of Montezuma, Ohio, Glaydis Stanfield of Montezuma, Ohio and a brother-in-law Bob Hoffman of Montezuma, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her children: Thomas Elkin, Terry McCloskey and Sharon Sue Elkin; siblings: Paul Blankenship, Herman Blankenship, Robert Blankenship, Katherin Lake, Edna Phelbs, Phobe Razor, Mildred Jackson, Mary Bryant, Charolette Edwards and Shirley Hoffman. She was a member of
Montezuma United Methodist Church. She retired from Inland Manufacturing (General Motors). Funeral service will be held at Hogenkamp Funeral Home - Coldwater on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 12 Noon with Rev. Bruce Crane officiating. Visitation will be at Hogenkamp Funeral Home - Coldwater on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. Burial will be at Germantown Union Cemetery, Germantown, Ohio.
