Christopher H. Knotts, age 40 of 651 Bruns Ave. in Celina, passed away at 12:56p.m. on Saturday Feb. 9, 2008 at home. He was born on April 3, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio. His father is Martin Knotts, who lives in Georgia and his mother Ledean (Polite) Knotts precedes him in death. On March 14, 1997 he married Carol Smith, who lives in Celina. Also surviving is his son Martin Knotts III of Ft. Hood, Texas; step son Andrew Fogt of Sidney; step daughter Danielle Fogt of Sidney; Grandmother Ethelda Hensley of Austin, Texas; brothers & sisters-in-law Martin II & Kimberly Knotts of Toledo, Melvin & Patsy Knotts of Toledo, John Knotts of Toledo; sisters Lilard Knotts of Texas and Lisa Knotts. He was a former employee of Continental Trucking Co., Klingshirn TruckingCo., and Gavett Paving. He was employed at AAP St. Mary Corporation. He was a member of the Celina Moose and the Celina Eagles. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday Feb. 14, 2008 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
