Moorman, Edgar A., age 81, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at his residence in Coldwater. He was born July 31, 1926, in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Ferd and Cecilia (Weyer) Moorman. He married Rosemary J. (Hein) Moorman on April 25, 1945. He is survived by 6 children: Diann (Joe) Schneider of Coldwater, Ohio, Judy (Marce) Nietfeld of Celina, Ohio, Jack (Pat) Moorman of Coldwater, Ohio, Rick (Mary) Moorman of Coldwater, Ohio, Sharon (Marv) Siefring of Saint Henry, Ohio and Lisa (Paul) Lefeld of Coldwater, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; a sister Alberta (Clarence) Eckstein of Celina, Ohio and a sister-in-law Lillian Moorman of Celina, Ohio. He is preceded in death by 5 brothers: Ves, Wilfred, Arthur, Anthony and Kenneth and 2 sisters: Dolores Schlosser and Virgene Moorman. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and the Men's Holy Name Society of The Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3025 Coldwater, OH and a social member Coldwater V. F. W. Post 5135. He was a 20 year member of the Coldwater Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Dayton Power & Light, Coldwater after 36 years and worked for Birkmeier Monuments for 20 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at Hogenkamp Funeral Home - Coldwater on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday February 13, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, in Coldwater, Ohio.
