Bruns, David V., age 77, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater, Ohio. He was born June 23, 1930, in Saint Henry, Ohio to the late Victor J. and Regina (Albers) Bruns. He married Susannah (Lee) Kerrigan-Bruns on November 7, 1987 and she died Feb. 28, 2000. He is survived by two brothers: Paul & Bruns of Philothea, Ohio and Herbert & Lenora Bruns of Baytown, Texas; one sister Dorothy Bruns of Saint Henry, Ohio; two brothers-in-law: Gene Dues of Philothea, Ohio and James Yeager of Farifax Station, Va.; step-children: John (Penny) Kerriegan of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Debrah Kerrigan of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Anna Kerrigan of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Joseph (Chasity) Kerrigan of Sidney, Ohio, Victoria (Dan) Wright of Sidney, Ohio and Mary (Dan) Robinson of Quincy, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sisters: Rita Dues and Mary Yeager, a sister-in-law Rita Bruns and a step-son Matthew Kerrigan. He attended St. Marys Catholic Church in Philothea. He was a member of Coldwater V. F. W. Post 5135 and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from St. Henry Tile Co. and farming. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at Hogenkamp Funeral Home - Coldwater on Friday, January 25, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday January 26, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery, in Philothea, Ohio.
