Alvira M. (Vera) Koester age 87 Died Tuesday January 22, 2008 1:15 PM at Versailles Health Care Center. She was born December 18, 1920 in Minster to Frank & Wilhemina(Daniel)Liesner, who preceeded her in death. She was married on Oct. 9, 1941 in Minster to George Koester who survives in Minster. Also Surviving are 2 Daughters Ann & Bill Ernst of Minster and Sue and Kurt Kremer of Minster. 6 Grandchildren Kelly, Sandy, Chris & Pam and David & Jill. 13 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild. She Was the last of her family Preceeded in death by 5 Brothers Harry, Al, Lawrence, Leonard & Emil. Vera was a member of St. Augustine Church Minster. And had been employed at Autokraft Box Corp. & Shenks Dry Goods Store both in Minster. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday St. Augustine Church Minster Rev. Rick Nieberding Presiding. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 till 8 PM Friday & 9:00 AM till 9:30 AM Sat. Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Augustine Mission Commission.
