Alice L. Plas, age 87, formerly of St. Patrick, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster, Ohio. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was also a member of Minster F.O.E. #1391, Lake Loramie Improvement Association, and was an avid bowler. She was the retired owner and operator of Maurice’s Landing, Lake Loramie. She was born January 25, 1920 in Findlay, Ohio to the late William Moore and the late Bertha (Norris) Moore. She married Maurice Ramsey on December 12, 1939. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1968. She then married Cy Plas on June 6, 1970. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1994. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews including her caregivers Linda & Ted Fleckenstein and family in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. She was the last of her family and was preceded in death by 3 brothers & 3 sisters. Arrangements are being handled by N.J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc., 61 South Hanover St., Minster, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2008, Rev. Steven Shoup Celebrant. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in St. Patrick, Ohio. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Heritage Manor Activity Fund.
