Bettinger, Angela E., age 78, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born March 19, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Sylvester and Martha (Kaiser) Wehrkamp. She married to Paul C. Bettinger on February 26, 1949 and he died April 24, 2006. She is survived by sons and daughters: Theresa & Rod Arney of Dayton, Ohio, Conrad & Tammy Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, William & Lori Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, Eric & Sandy Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, Gretchen & Mike Hoyng of Georgia, Dietrich Bettinger of Dayton, Ohio, Carmen & Ralph Meyer of Coldwater, Ohio and Ramona Bettinger of Columbus, Ohio; 12 grandchildren: Chelsea and Lisol Arney, Emily & Jenny Grieshop, Justine, Gavin and Ethan Bettinger, Malave and Creighton Bettinger, Seth, Kala and Lexi Meyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rita Bettinger of Saint Henry, Ohio, Maguerite Griesdorn of St. Rose, Ohio, Grace & Paul Rutschilling of Coldwater, Ohio, Clete & Norma Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, Bob & Barb Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, Marlene Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio, Carl & Ruth Bettinger of Coldwater, Ohio. She is preceded in death by a daughter Christina Bettinger; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herman (Bud) Bettinger, Clarina & Serf Lefeld, Lucille & Harold Bergman, William Bettinger, Mary Ellen Bettinger, Clete Griesdorn and LaVern Bettinger. She was a homemaker and mother of 8 children. She graduated in 1947 from Coldwater High. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and was a member of St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, St. Cecelia Knights of St. John, St. Gasper Del Buffalo 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Coldwater V. F. W. Auxiliary and she distributed communion to the sick in the hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Richard Walling officiating. Visitation will be at Hogenkamp Funeral Home - Coldwater on Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday January 14, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, in Coldwater, Ohio. Memorials can be made to Society of The Most Precious Blood.
