Mary H. (Sally) Groff, 79, 41 W. Chestnut St., Burkettsville, died at 7 p.m. Dec. 12, 2003 at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville.
She was born May 4, 1924, in Burkettsville, to John and Mary Dierkers Heinrichs. On May 4, 1946, she married Lloyd A. Groff, who died March 5, 2002.
Survivors are a sister, Dolores Buehler, Burkettsville; a brother, Carl (Marj) Heinrichs, Centerville; three brothers-in-law, Francis, North Star, Joe (Delores), Dayton, and Francis Schmitz, (Miamisburg), five sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hemmelgarn, New Weston, Joan, Rossburg, Marcy (Bob) Hare, Troy, Virginia (Bill) May, West Carrollton, and Helen (Jim) Russ, Somerdale, N.J.
Deceased are three sisters, Anna Feltz, Veronica Barga, and Gertrude Heinrichs, and three brothers, Greg, Norb and Harold.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and she was a member of the Ladies Guild at the church. She was retired as an inspector at Frigidaire in Dayton.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, Rev. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
