Marion Schindler
Marion Schindler, 79, 7262 Ohio 197, Celina, died at 3:20 a.m. March 29, 2004, at The Gardens at Celina.
He was born March 1, 1925, in Berne, Ind., to Reuben and Aldine Amstutz Schindler. On March 9, 1946, he married Betty L. Smith who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Ted (Elizabeth) of Columbus; a daughter, Brenda Webb, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Scott; a daughter, Wendy Jo; two brothers, Ornell and Ervin; and two sisters, Florence Schindler and Mildred Meyer.
He had worked as an independent life insurance and security agent and was a member of Grace Missionary Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery with military rites by the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
