Rockford- Rose Anna Spencer Buckloh age 81 of rural Rockford, Ohio, died Tuesday March 30, 2004, at The Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys Ohio after an extended illness.

She was born in Byant , Indiana, on May 30, 1922, the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Lizzie L. (Spade) Spencer. On April 5, 1947 she married Clarence Buckloh who survives in St. Marys, Ohio.

Mrs. Buckloh worked at the Naval Ordinance Plant in Indianapolis during WWII. After the war she worked at the Celina Insurance Co. and then for the Mersman Table Co. in Celina. She was a faithful companion to her husband and homemaker on their farm near Rockford. She was an active member of the Rockford United Methodist Church For many years and enjoyed singing in the Choir.


Three sister also survive her; Mrs. Nellie G. Cline of Syracuse, Indiana; Mrs. Alice L. Smith of Macon, Georgia;Mrs. Joan M. Rager of Van Wert; one brother Mr. Robert D. Spencer of Indianapolis, Indiana and many Nieces and Nephews.

Two sisters Mary C. Pence & Kathleen B. Reichard, Also Preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday April 2, 2004 at the Lehman Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, with Pastor Michael Berne of R ockford U.M.C. and John A. Rager, nephew of Mrs. Buckloh officiating. Burial will be at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina Ohio. Friends may call at the Lehman Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8p.m. on Thursday and One hour Prior to service on Friday .

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rockford U.M.C.
