Donald C. Laug Age 71 of 620 Devonshire Dr. Celina died March 18, 2004 at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima at 12:20p.m. of a heart attack. He was born Feb 4, 1933 to the late Jacob and Helen (Burgess) Laug in Cincinnati,Ohio. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Elaine (Luken) Laug, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include his wife Valerie (Boxell) Laug two daughter : Mrs. John (Lois) Mirizzi-Cincinnati; Barbara Laug-Celina; 2 grandsons, five step children: Dennis & Jane Wilder-Celina; Dean Wilder-Maryland; Mrs. Russell (Cathy) Krick- Convoy; Mrs. James (Shari) Brooks-Newhaven IN; Mrs. Dale (Renee) Lehman-Celina; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-granchildren; 3 sisters Sue Heineman-Cincinnati; Helen Bailey-Aurora , IN; Dorothy Feltner-Fayetteville, Ohio. Donald retired from owning and operator the Laug’s Cottages in Celina. After retiring he pursued his hobbies of fishing & tying flies. He was a member of the Celina Eagles #1291, Celina V.F.W. Post # 5713 and he was a member of the Amvets of Cincinnati, Ohio . Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday March 23, 2004 at the Vitt & Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati. Burial will follow in the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Cemetery in Cincinnati with military honor by the Wesley & Werner American Legion Post #513. Friends may call from 2-6p.m. on Sunday at the Lehman Funeral Home in Celina and 1 hour before services at the Vitt & Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati.
